Important milestone on this roadmap is to deliver the Data Marketplace in which data consumers can select certified data products on their fingertips by facilitating data self-service and assurance. As a Data Governance Officer you are eager to make transform NN’s Group Finance Data domain to become data driven.

WHO YOU ARE

Entrepreneurial and creative tech/ data savvy, with getting things done mentality. Higher education degree required, preferable Finance or (Business) Information management with a relation to Data & AI.

  • 3 to 5 years experience in data and process management, with exposure to data governance, data architecture, data product management, or other similar roles
  • Growth mind-set, embrace change and are continuously looking for optimization and improvements in solutions you/your team builds
  • Analytical thinking skills, combined with strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with the data management framework DMBOK
  • Strong Collibra knowledge that can be proven by relevant certifications, e.g. Solution Architect or Ranger
Responsibilities

The main responsibility of the Data Governance Officer is to support the organization to become data driven. Key focus is to increase the maturity level of Data Governance of this important data domain and enable data owners/ stewards to be in control of their data, manage it effectively and increase trust.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Promote a data-driven culture and data product mindset within Group Finance & Risk
  • Translate domain specific requirements into actionable data solutions;
  • Define data governance roles, responsibilities, and organizational structures
  • Assist in collaborating with cross-functional domains to establish Data Governance best practices
  • Support Finance & Risk Data Stewards in keeping their metadata up-to-date
  • Maintain the operating model of our metadata platform (Collibra)
  • Design and implement new features in Collibra, incl. developing workflows
