Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Data Governance & Privacy Specialist (Contractual) to lead and oversee IT governance, data privacy, and compliance initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in governance frameworks such as COBIT, ISO standards, and other industry best practices, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational objectives. Qualifications Key Responsibilities Lead and manage IT governance, data governance, and privacy programs across the organization Design, assess, and implement governance frameworks including COBIT, ISO (ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 38500, etc.), and other relevant standards Oversee compliance assessments, audits, and gap analyses, and drive remediation plans Ensure data privacy controls and policies are aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards Develop, maintain, and enforce governance policies, procedures, and controls Collaborate with IT, Security, Risk, Legal, and Business teams to ensure consistent governance practices Monitor governance KPIs, risk indicators, and compliance metrics Provide guidance and advisory support to senior leadership on governance, risk, and compliance matters Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance governance maturity Additional Information Required Qualifications & Experience 7+ years of experience in IT Governance, Data Governance, and Compliance Strong hands-on experience with COBIT, ISO frameworks, and governance assessments Proven experience in governance framework implementation and maturity assessments Solid understanding of data privacy principles and regulatory compliance Experience working in senior or lead governance roles
