It also operates 16 MediCard free-standing clinics that provide services at par with those offered by hospitals minus the confinement. MediCard is currently looking for assertive, dynamic and energetic individuals to fill up the following vacancy: Responsible for capturing data from various sources into the system for data analytics Apply data extraction, transformation and loading techniques in order to connect large data sets from a variety of sources Create data collection frameworks for structured and unstructured data Develop and maintain infrastructure systems such as data warehouses, data lakes and data access application programming interfaces (APIs) Define data standards, develop data catalogues and ensure data quality (map Data Engineer, Data Management, Data Architect to this job profile) 1. Data Governance Framework Development: · Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s data governance framework, policies, and standards. · Define roles and responsibilities for data stewardship, ownership, and custodianship. · Ensure data governance processes align with business goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. 2. Data Quality Management: · Lead initiatives to assess and improve data quality across systems and business domains. · Define data quality rules, metrics, and monitoring processes. · Collaborate with technical and business teams to resolve data quality issues and drive continuous improvement. 3. Metadata & Master Data Management: · Oversee the creation and maintenance of metadata standards, data catalogs, and business glossaries. · Support Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives, ensuring consistent and accurate master data across systems. · Ensure clarity and transparency of data definitions, lineage, and usage. 4. Compliance, Privacy & Risk Management: · Ensure adherence to data privacy laws, regulatory requirements, and internal security policies. · Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Security teams to assess data-related risks and implement mitigation strategies. · Manage data access controls and support audits and compliance reviews. 5. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: · Collaborate with business leaders, data owners, and SMEs to ensure data governance processes support operational needs. · Facilitate cross-functional workshops, working groups, and governance councils. · Promote data governance awareness and adoption across the organization. 6. Strategy, Analysis & Advisory: · Analyze current data management practices to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement. · Provide expert recommendations on data governance tools, practices, and solutions. · Support digital transformation and analytics initiatives by ensuring reliable, high‑quality data. 7. Documentation & Reporting: · Prepare and maintain documentation for data governance policies, standards, procedures, and data dictionaries. · Develop reports on data quality, governance maturity, compliance status, and KPI performance. · Communicate governance progress, issues, and risks to senior management. 8. Training & Change Management: · Deliver training programs and workshops to educate teams on data governance best practices. · Drive change management initiatives to increase data literacy across departments.
