Eram Talent is on the lookout for a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Governance Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring that the organization maintains high standards of data quality, integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations. As a Data Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing data governance frameworks and policies that promote effective data management practices across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of data governance concepts, data management, and regulatory requirements. You will work collaboratively with various teams to foster a culture of data stewardship and ensure that data is treated as a strategic asset within the organization. Additionally, you will assist in implementing data quality initiatives and assessing data risks to support business objectives. Key Responsibilities Execute the data governance and data quality strategy, incorporating industry best practices. Define, Deploy and Communicate data quality policies, procedures, and guidelines to all business units of the organization ensuring data is used and maintained properly Manage the Personal Data Protection agenda within ASMO and monitor the compliance Monitor the current data quality situation, identifying gaps and root causes, and work towards resolving issues efficiently. Execute data quality business cases, establish, and measure variances between actual and target outcomes. Develop terms of reference for data quality programs and launch new and improved programs across all units of the organization. Establish control measures and procedures for data management information (MI) in line with organizational frameworks and guidelines. Execute data quality implementation roadmap, making necessary changes and enhancements to people, processes, technology, and information. Conduct data quality projects from inception to implementation, including performance tracking and communication. Continuously evaluate and improve data quality processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance overall data governance and data quality within the organization. Incorporate feedback from external technology auditors into controls put in place to ensure compliance of Technology systems at ASMO. Stay updated on KSA data protection laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance. Utilize enhanced cybersecurity measures to protect data and incorporate this seamlessly into protective measures against data theft, breaches, or loss. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is required 7+ Years in a Data Governance Role is required. Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) preferred Experience in Information Technology / Data Solutions / Networking / Cybersecurity preferred Strong understanding of data governance concepts and frameworks. Familiarity with data quality management, data privacy regulations, and compliance standards. Proven experience in conducting data assessments and audits. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
