    We are currently looking for a Data Integration Developer (Boomi & Oracle) to join our Information Management team.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Data Integration Developer is dedicated to designing and implementing data integration and movement solutions across systems, with a strong focus on ensuring data accuracy through quality assurance testing. In this role you will be developing and maintaining the Society’s data integration platforms, particularly Boomi, while also contributing to the support of the data platform on Azure. You will support and enhance the existing regulatory platform on Oracle and leading the migration from Oracle BPM to Boomi.
You will also play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing seamless data integration solutions that enhance efficiency and drive innovation within the organisation, and in advancing the Society’s digital transformation initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Boomi Integration and Flow development
  • Design, develop, and manage end-to-end Boomi integration processes and flows
  • Build efficient workflows to connect diverse systems, ensuring seamless data exchange
  • Troubleshoot, enhance, and optimize existing Boomi flows for performance and reliability
  • Oracle Database expertise
  • Develop, test, and maintain complex PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, and triggers
  • Optimize Oracle database performance, ensuring data integrity and scalability
  • Collaborate with teams to design efficient database schemas and streamline workflows
  • Define the Data and Data Integration strategy
  • Focus on business decision automation through quality information
  • Develop a single source of information truth for all business users
  • Administer and apply data-fixes to both internally and externally developed business-critical systems
  • Troubleshoot and correct issues on various application databases such as Oracle and Azure SQL
  • Identify potential faults within the Data Integrations and Data Warehouse and take a proactive approach to address the issue
  • Pro-actively engage with various business stakeholders to encourage adoption and automation using the Information Management services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse business requirements and deliver integrated solutions
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other developers and team members
  • Document system processes, configurations, and best practices
  • Ensure clear processes are in place for new request management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams with the maintenance of our Azure Data & Integration platform
  • Report on task/project progress to manager
  • Focus on improving / maintaining the perception of IT within the business
  • Provide training to staff (both internally and externally) on IT IM Services
  • IT Reporting
  • Ensuring all policies, procedures and processes are followed at all times
  • Maintain all documentation for continual use and ease of new staff joining the team
  • Any other reasonable tasks / requests as directed by IT Management
  • Support a collaborative and progressive team environment
  • Standardise and highlight improvements to services
  • Providing and maintain troubleshooting support and knowledge sharing across IT
