DO YOU HAVE THE SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE TO BE A PROACTIVE MEMBER OF A BUSY, CENTRAL SERVICES’ TEAM THAT WORKS WITH AND DEVELOPS DATA AND INTELLIGENCE TO HELP OTHERS TO IMPROVE THE FUTURES OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE?

We have a 9 Month Fixed Term opportunity as a Data Intelligence Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring high-quality data is captured, managed, and transformed into powerful insights and intelligence that shape, improve and help develop our services.
Working closely with the Head of Data Insights & Intelligence and our Senior Analyst, you’ll help develop and maintain efficient data systems, improve data quality, and create insightful reports and dashboards that support decision-making across Compass.
Your expertise will guide teams across our organisation in accessing and interpreting data, ensuring compliance with national data reporting requirements in areas like mental health, substance misuse, and sexual health. You’ll also proactively use your technical skills knowledge and experience to solve data challenges, using statistical and reporting tools such as Power BI to uncover trends and opportunities for us to help improve the futures of many Children and Young People across the country.
This is more than just a data role—it’s a chance to contribute to services that truly make a difference. If you’re analytical, detail-oriented, with a range of technical skills and experience and eager to apply yourself in a forward-thinking team, we’d love to hear from you.

  • Skilled in analysing and interpreting complex data, turning insights into action.
  • Confident working with large datasets, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
  • Proficient in SQL, DAX, advanced Excel, with experience in data analysis and reporting
  • A problem solver who thrives under pressure, balancing priorities effectively.
  • A strong, pro-active, communicator, able to present technical data in an accessible way.

  • Self-motivated, resilient, and adaptable, always learning and improving.

Although not a dealbreaker, experience with Power BI, public health datasets, and statistical analysis, along with managing teams, projects, or NHS contracts, will help you thrive. If you’re a strategic thinker with strong presentation skills, creativity, and a passion for service transformation, we’d love to hear from you.
