SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Familiarity with data governance principles and practices
- Knowledge of database structures, data lineage mapping, data governance reporting
- Experience working with unstructured data

EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of demonstrable experience in data management and data transformation roles
Responsibilities:
We are looking to hire a Data Management Analyst to join this team. This role involves assisting in the design, development, and implementation of data improvement initiatives for our Structured Finance analytics tools and workflow, under the guidance of senior data management team members. The analyst will help in developing data lineage flows, designing databases and data taxonomies, defining data elements and concepts for end-users, optimizing data use across models and tools, and supporting data migration to a modern, cloud-based infrastructure.
- Develop and implement data usage strategies to optimize data quality, efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements.
- Design and maintain databases, data dictionaries, and taxonomies to ensure data consistency and integrity.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform prioritisation of digital enablement.
- Establish data governance practices, including data standards, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with partners to determine the data required to deliver the target state service solution, and map the end-to-end data lineage.
- Work closely with IT teams to define the requirements for data migration and to ensure the smooth transition from legacy systems to modern data infrastructure.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to data quality and process performance.
- Assist in the identification, cleaning, validation, and migration of data from various sources.
- Challenge the status quo and provide an innovative way of thinking for out-of-the-box data solutions, data performance metrics and new or third-party data sources.
- Work in Agile pods to define business data requirements for digital technology solutions, identify any opportunities to improve, refine and re-develop technology solutions with Product Owners.
- Collaborate with our learning and process teams to develop data training, communication plans and roll-out plans for key data and technology changes
