Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of HR, customer service, or data entry experience OR

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains data integrity, creates and updates employee data in HR information system including, but not limited to, employee demographics, compensation, salary adjustments, attained degrees, benefits enrollment, and deductions, etc.
Investigates and resolves issues, answers questions, and provides advice to departments regarding data management & payroll matters. Assists supervisors and managers with problems by evaluating facts and reaching sound solutions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilize standard edit reports to ensure data accuracy and minimize errors. Reviews, analyzes, and maintains various reports used to track data including necessary payroll reports regarding leave and longevity.
Use data to analyze, calculate and make appropriate adjustments to creditable service such as longevity dates, new service dates, leave accrual dates, terminal management, or annual leave in the system.
Reviews and compares electronic contracts to the personnel actions forms (EPAFS). Analyzes data to make appropriate changes.
Reviews the separation and clearance system and processes termination actions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Administers the completion of Form I-9 for all employees of the university. Reviews forms for accuracy and provides for appropriate retention of Form I-9 and related documents to ensure compliance.
Routinely performs audits of current and previous employment eligibility records and processes. Monitors I-9 compliance in accordance with federal regulations. Makes corrections as needed and communicates with appropriate University employees to maintain compliance.
Coordinates employment eligibility re-certification efforts including maintaining a re-certification database, sending email notifications, and completing re-certification of Form I-9.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares, analyzes, and maintains payroll reports and documents. Submits payroll reports and supporting documents to Payroll department and maintains a partnership role in processing the biweekly and monthly payrolls.
Researches all pay and compensation discrepancies in collaboration with Payroll to triage corrections required such as payments, deductions, deferral balances, and related payouts.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a liaison between Shared Services Center and the University community. Corresponds and collaborates with SSC employees to correct EPAF and eContract issues.

Prepares and updates desk procedures manual. Ensures compliance with applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and statutes by participating in seminars and trainings.
