Description

The "Data Architecture Solutions" team belongs to the Divisional Data Office (DDO) sub-domain. This sub-domain, in turn, reports to the Data & Analytics domain within TDI CIO Private Bank. The sub-domain is headed by the Chief Data Architect (CDA). The CDA is responsible for defining, implementing, and monitoring compliance with the target data architecture, divisional data models, data management processes, and data quality in accordance with strategic objectives.

As a Data Specialist, you will be responsible within the team for defining, coordinating, and documenting the target data architecture for the Private Bank (PB) business unit. The primary objective is the strategic provision of the highest quality data to users within Deutsche Bank. In line with PB's objectives, the Data Specialist ensures compliance with the Group-wide Architecture Principles and Standards.

Your tasks

As a member of the Data Architecture Solution Team, the Data Specialist supports the PB CDA. The focus is on the appropriate provision of PB data to consumers within Deutsche Bank in accordance with the group-wide Data Architecture Principles and Standards, specifically:

  • Ensure that PB complies with all relevant data architecture standards regarding data acquisition, data lineage documentation, data quality measurement and defect correction.
  • Developing data architecture solutions in close collaboration with PB Solution/Enterprise architects, data owners, and data delivery teams.
  • Representing PB in group-wide feedback processes for the further development of data management policies and architecture. Obtaining necessary approvals from group units, e.g., for tactical solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Data Modelling and Data Landscape teams to further develop the group-wide data model from PB's perspective.
  • Optimizing processes, methods, and existing tools (e.g., Collibra), for example, for data definition and documentation of data lineage using AI.
  • Supporting PB's data initiatives, e.g., implementation programs for Enterprise Data Management and Data Platform

Your skills and experience

Solid knowledge of all aspects of data management. This includes the following aspects as comprehensively as possible:

  • Understanding of end-to-end processes and the data architecture of international universal banks, ideally with a focus on private/retail banking.
  • Proven experience in developing data architectures and addressing the challenges of providing harmonized data
  • A solid understanding of data regulation regulations and knowledge of market practices, including how these are interpreted and implemented in a business-specific context.
  • A solid understanding of AI methods, ideally with practical experience of use cases in the field of data management to achieve productivity and efficiency gains.
  • Excellent team player with extensive experience in managing complex stakeholder structures, including communication with senior management.
  • Fluent in English and German
