QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Autodesk Vault and AutoCAD.
  • Civil 3D experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized and task oriented.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Solid understanding of engineering data management, version control, and CAD file structures.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server environments and SQL databases is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between the AutoDESK Vault database team and the AutoDESK Civil 3D subject matter expert.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Vault-related issues, including file check-in/check-out errors, and version conflicts.
  • Manage and maintain the AutoDESK Vault database.
  • Maintain Vault user accounts, roles, and permissions to ensure secure and efficient access to project data.
  • Develop and implement workflow processes and lifecycle management for file management in Vault.
  • Support integration between AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Vault to streamline design workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineers, CAD designers, and IT to implement best practices for data management and project collaboration.
  • Assist with Vault upgrades, patching, and testing to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Provide training and onboarding for new users on Vault usage, standards, and workflows.
  • Document support procedures, common issues, and resolutions to build a robust internal knowledge base.
  • Participate in occasional office meetings as required
