POSITION SUMMARY: The Data Management Specialist will be responsible for maintaining an Oracle database of complex mapping structures required to support accurate management and reporting across IPG’s client base and organizational structure. This includes SAP systems (Vantage and cSAP), special reporting and management initiatives ingesting these mappings, as well as other local GL systems used in the EU and UK which are required to satisfy GDPR requirements in those regions. This position will be expected to work jointly with various teams across Interpublic to design unique solutions to satisfy business requirements and to identify potential risks and mitigations to ensure expected results. A high degree of analytic, process and problem solving skills is required. Flexibility and willingness to continually learn and have responsibilities evolve is key to success in this position. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Monitor daily workflow or manual file requests for new product creations in cSAP and Vantage systems and accurately map to Hyperion Research and validate new Hyperion, Agency and Corporate client requests to insure ultimate structure is correct and aligns with reporting requirements Run daily validations and troubleshoot any errors Respond, validate and action agency requests for mapping changes Assist with the expanded use of One Trust in the UK and EU for GDPR reporting requirements Join calls and provide feedback on new projects Participate in development and ongoing maintenance of special project files Regular and reliable attendance required Ability to work onsite in an office environment with limited remote work alternatives, consistent with applicable law EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree preferred, or applicable experience in lieu Proven ability to understand and manage complex systems and processes Thorough knowledge of client structure in SAP Successful track record of effectively managing competing priorities BENEFITS OF JOINING IPG: One of our primary goals is to support the health and well-being of you and your family.
