Are you a strategic thinker who’s passionate about using data to drive social impact?
The Training Fund is looking for a Data Manager to lead our data team and transform how we collect, manage, and use information to fuel decision-making and measure our program’s impact.
This role is equal parts data architect, problem solver, and team leader - someone who can build scalable data systems, ensure compliance and integrity, and inspire a team to turn raw data into actionable insights that serve our mission.

HERE’S WHAT YOUR WORK AND EDUCATION HISTORY NEED TO SHOW AS EVIDENCE THAT YOU’RE THE RIGHT CANDIDATE…

Required:

  • 5–7 years of experience in data management, architecture, or engineering
  • Proficiency with data tools and platforms (Excel, SQL, Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
  • Experience with cloud data environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

  • 3-years of experience in a managerial-level role.
  • Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Experience in nonprofit, grant-funded, or mission-driven environments
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and ethical data management
  • Certifications in data architecture, cloud platforms, or analytics

Here’s the important details:

  • Location: Renton, WA (Hybrid – must reside in the Puget Sound Region)
  • Salary Range: $114,000-$167,652 per year
  • Schedule: Full-time, Exempt
  • Reports To: Director of Systems
  • Compliance: You must be able to pass a criminal background check and have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable insured vehicle
