We’re recruiting for an experienced Data Migration Analyst to support a programme of complex data migration and integration activities.

What you’ll be doing

  • Defining and documenting mappings between legacy and target systems
  • Extracting, transforming and loading data in line with migration requirements
  • Translating business requirements into technical data mappings and rules
  • Developing and executing migration test plans and scripts
  • Reconciling migrated data to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Troubleshooting migration issues and supporting post-migration activity
  • Maintaining clear documentation covering mappings, transformations and quality checks
  • Working closely with business users, technical teams, vendors and programme stakeholders
  • Contributing to migration strategy, planning and execution

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in a Data Migration or Data Integration role
  • Strong understanding of data mapping, ETL and data transformation
  • Experience working on complex system integration or migration projects
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience using data analysis tools such as Excel, Python or similar
  • Experience with data migration tools
  • Ability to understand system architecture, data structures and integration points
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • A track record of maintaining data integrity throughout migrations
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and work to tight deadlines

Experience with data governance frameworks, cloud-based data environments and CRM/platform migrations would also be beneficial.
