The Opportunity The Data Migration Specialist manages the transfer of customer data from legacy systems into the Phorest platform during onboarding. The role ensures data integrity, accuracy, and security while working to tight onboarding timelines. By handling one of the most critical and complex steps in onboarding, this role builds client trust and ensures a smooth transition to Phorest’s software. What You'll Do Extract, transform, and import client data from legacy systems into the platform, using industry nuance to identify improvement areas. Validate data accuracy and ensure compliance with data protection standards. Collaborate with Onboarding Specialists and Client Success Managers to align data migration with client timelines. Troubleshoot complex data issues and provide solutions to minimise client disruption. Maintain detailed documentation of processes and provide feedback to improve migration tools. Communicate with clients in a clear, professional way to set expectations and provide updates. Who You Are You have: A university degree in data or information technology preferred. Strong technical skills in data management and migration processes. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling large data sets. Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills under time pressure. Clear written and verbal communication skills. You are: Highly organised and process-driven. Customer-focused with ability to build trust through accuracy and reliability. Resilient and adaptable in managing multiple migrations simultaneously. Collaborative across onboarding and client-facing teams.
