Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Data Capabilities Product Manager to lead initiatives that enhance the accessibility, usability, and quality of our data assets. This role is pivotal in driving data excellence across the organization by managing foundational data capabilities and partnering cross-functionally to support product innovation and operational efficiency

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Preparing and presenting product plans that identify risks and challenges, opportunities and growth strategies.
  • Managing project inventory during budget planning process and providing content for product roadmaps and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Monitoring each product’s profit and loss statement.
  • Collaborating with senior management, completing business scope documents and managing key vendor relationships.
  • Data Capability Ownership: Lead and evolve core data capabilities including:
  • Merchant Mapping
  • Entity Resolution
  • Data Taxonomy Optimization
  • Transaction Verification
  • Data Normalization and Maintenance
  • Data Integration & Enrichment: Design and manage processes for linking internal data to external identifiers and tools such as NAICS codes, DUNS IDs, etc.
  • New Data Exploration: Evaluate and integrate new data sources, including expansion into additional geographies and data domains.
  • Benchmarking & Standards: Lead benchmarking efforts to assess data quality, coverage, and performance against industry standards.
  • Team Liaison: Partner with other Product Managers and Technical Product Owner to identify, prioritize, and build data capabilities that enable new product development.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders in other areas and initiatives across the enterprise to support key initiatives such as Master Data Management.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Lead external partnerships that support data enrichment, normalization, and capability expansion.
