We are seeking to appoint a Data Officer within the Children’s Services Performance Team. This is a permanent, full-time position at Grade 7 (£31,537 - £34,434 Per annum).The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Council’s statutory duties under the Education Act 1996 and Department for Education guidance by ensuring the accurate and timely import of school attendance data into the Council’s central systems.

This role is critical to the Council’s ability to meet its legal obligations and to support schools in delivering effective attendance monitoring and early intervention.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children; therefore, the post is subject to medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
