JOB SUMMARY

The Data Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management of all data-related processes and supporting key administrative functions within the Arbor School.
Key responsibilities will include providing specialist expertise and data analysis using the school’s management information systems and assessment systems. To oversee the management of school assessments. This role involves maintaining data systems, analysing educational data, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
As a member of Arbor, the Data Officer will ensure the safeguarding of student welfare, promoting Arbor’s values, and ensuring alignment with school policies. Additionally, the position supports admissions processes and data accuracy, ensuring smooth transitions between academic years. Availability during summer, particularly for analysing results, is essential.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and maintain the school’s data management systems, ensuring accuracy and security.
  • Collect, input, and update student and staff data.
  • Analyse educational data to provide insights for improving student outcomes and school performance.
  • Generate reports and dashboards for school leadership, teachers, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with IT staff to resolve data-related issues and support implementation of new systems as needed.
