Responsibilities

THE ROLE

Hatched Analytics runs a consumer-facing cashback website under a sister brand, supported by a growing community of consumers who share their purchase data with us — data that fuels our core products and analytics. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Data Operations & Community Engagement Lead to oversee the full operational cycle of our data and community support processes.
You’ll lead the Operations Team, guiding both the Sourcing and Processing teams, and act as the key point of contact for cross-functional collaboration with our Data Analytics, and Engineering teams. This role is highly cross-functional and requires a strong blend of team leadership, operational oversight, data accuracy, and customer-centric thinking.
Please note that, given the rhythm of our business, this role entails occasional weekend work (approx. 5 times per year).

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Sourcing and Processing Teams, including handling escalations, supporting team members, and setting priorities.
  • Supervise and optimise the community journey: manage communication flows, and oversee customer support queues.
  • Act as the escalation point for both community interactions and internal team issues, resolving them in a timely and fair manner.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and clean delivery of community data to the Data Analytics team.
  • Act as the primary liaison with the Data Analytics team: answer questions, manage data requests, and ensure their needs are met efficiently.
  • Conduct quarterly audits of subscription and purchase data to maintain accuracy and integrity.
  • Own the Operations Team budget: prepare forecasts, submit funding requests, and manage expenditures.
  • Collaborate closely with the Engineering Team: participate in the development of new tools, act as the point of contact for operational requirements, and support pilot testing of new systems.
  • Identify and implement ongoing improvements to operational processes, tools, and data flows to drive efficiency and accuracy.
  • Take full ownership of projects, deadlines, and team performance, while contributing actively to the continuous improvement of our operations.
