The State of Wisconsin, Department of Military Affairs (DMA) is hiring a Data Operations Specialist (IS Comprehensive Services-Senior). This position is located at Volk Field in Camp Douglas.
The DMA provides essential, effective, and responsive military and emergency management capability for the citizens of our state and nation. During emergencies, no single organization can handle the response. Volk Field is one of only four Air National Guard Combat Readiness Training Centers in the nation, and the only one that does not share its airfield with a civilian airport. POSITION SUMMARY
Volk Field Cyber provides systems support to Volk Field Air National Guard Bureau, all tenant units and detachments, and transient training customers. This role requires a broad knowledge of technical expertise in the operation and management of radio systems, data and video distribution systems, classified and unclassified video telephony systems, network transport equipment, and process improvement. This position requires strong oral and written communication skills, assists in network design, computer systems design and operation, and enhances network and electromagnetic capabilities to defend national interests.
