Responsibilities:
A Data Platform Architect plays a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our data architecture and Azure data platform. As part of our team, you’ll be driving the responsibilities of designing, developing, and refining data platforms. You will support extensive data processing and analytics objectives while bearing in mind scalability and security.
Your main duties will revolve around several key areas. You´ll be responsible of the Architecture Design and Development, where you’ll use your expertise to create data platforms tailored to our organization’s specific requirements, ensuring they meet stringent criteria for scalability, security, and performance. The role will also include data modelling, integration and data pipelines skills, when developing data models that accurately capture and represent the critical data elements essential to our operations. Hands on engineering skills will be crucial to succeed in this role.
You’ll also be responsible for platform management and optimization. This entails closely monitoring the performance of our data platform, identifying potential bottlenecks, and implementing strategic optimizations to ensure it remains both scalable and efficient enough to handle the ever-growing volume and complexity of our data.
