Some of the things you’ll do:
As a Data Platform Developer, you’ll wear multiple hats across data engineering, analytics, CRM administration, and software architecture. Your work will directly support business operations, decision-making, and client success. Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be doing:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using modern cloud tools.
- Document data sources, data handling systems, pipelines, and integration guidelines to ensure transparency and maintainability.
- Automate data synchronization and ingestion across systems, including APIs and databases.
- Act as the team’s expert in prompt engineering and context design, crafting high-quality prompts and structured inputs to maximize the effectiveness of AI models.
- Leverage state-of-the-art AI tools (e.g., large language models, generative AI, and code assistants) to accelerate development, automate workflows, and enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Design and implement intelligent systems that integrate AI capabilities into enterprise data pipelines, applications, and services.
- Integrate platforms and SaaS tools (e.g., HubSpot) via APIs to streamline and automate data flows.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using AWS Redshift and QuickSight to support internal stakeholders and client decision-making.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, consistency, and governance across multiple platforms and sources.
- Leverage serverless technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda) to automate and scale data workflows.
- Administer and optimize CRM systems, primarily HubSpot, including workflows, dashboards, and custom configurations.
- Perform data mapping and transformation to align disparate data formats and schemas.
- Develop scripts in Python and JavaScript to support data processing, automation, and integration tasks.
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based data platforms for scalable and reliable infrastructure.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipeline performance across various platforms.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to align data solutions with business requirements.

Requirements for the job:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems).
- 2–4+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, CRM administration, or software development.
- Proficiency in SQL (Redshift, SQL Server, MySQL) and scripting languages like Python.
- Experience with cloud platforms (especially AWS), including Redshift, Lambda, and QuickSight.
- Expertise with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), including reporting, workflows, and customization.
- Demonstrated expertise in using generative AI tools (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, GitHub Copilot, etc.) for software development, data analysis, and problem-solving.
- Deep understanding of context engineering—structuring inputs, metadata, and system instructions to guide AI behavior effectively.
- Strong experience with AI-assisted development environments and workflows.
- Ability to translate complex business problems into AI-solvable tasks using advanced prompting strategies.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and API integrations.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Bonus: HubSpot certification, experience with DevOps or CI/CD, or background in software architecture.

Compensation/Benefits
The position has an estimated base salary range of $80,800-$99,500. Other compensation for the role may include participation in short- or long-term incentive programs.
