As a Contact Centre officer, you'll be a trusted guide for our participants and Health Care practitioners; helping them through the National Cancer Screening programs needs with clarity and care. Along with assisting our customers via calls, you will need to ensure that all data processing and exception management tasks are appropriately resolved in a timely and efficient manner and consistent with the high-quality standards. Please note, this role is based in Melbourne, VIC. About the role: Work within a team to answer telephone-based end user queries - verifying information, monitoring and responding to incoming and outgoing phone calls Accurately maintain participant records and investigate exceptions by following up with the Team Lead or the Health Care professional Maintain confidentiality and sensitive matters diplomatically and discreetly Utilise appropriate systems and processes and adhere to all NCSR policies, procedures and work instructions Escalate issues as appropriate in accordance with NCSR policies, procedures and work instructions Make continuous improvement suggestions to the Contact Centre Team Leaders and Contact Centre Manager Work in a team environment and share a team load Skills/Experience 1-2 years’ experience in a call centre or customer service role Excellent written and verbal communication skills Previous experience within a large organisation would be preferred but not essential High level of professionalism Strong problem-solving abilities, especially in a fast-paced environment Resilience and adaptability Strong initiative Professional email etiquette Proficient in Microsoft office suite Tech savvy is essential Why join Telstra Health: We believe that flexibility is not a ‘perk’, it’s how we have always worked!
