DATA PROCESSING TECHNICIAN

Infrasense is anticipating significant growth in the next 1-2 years and is currently looking for a Full-Time Data Processing Technician. Responsibilities and duties include, but not limited to:

  • Processing and analysis of large-scale NDE data sets in custom Windows based software using approved procedures.
  • Tracking and documenting project-related activities.
  • Drafting technical sections of project communications and reports.
  • Performing all work with high attention to detail to ensure thoroughness, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Performing all work in accordance with company and client Health & Safety protocols.
  • Performing all work with a positive can-do attitude.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in an engineering field such as Civil Engineering, Geophysics, Geology, or very closely related.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple deadlines.
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Passion for learning and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Geophysics, or very closely related engineering discipline.
  • Experience with large-scale data analysis, ideally within the disciplines of Civil Engineering, Geophysics, Geology, or similar.

  • Performs duties as assigned.
  • Adheres to project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Communicates effectively with team members, clients, and contractors.
  • Reviews all work for completeness, accuracy, and quality prior to submitting.
  • Complies with all Infrasense policies and procedures.
  • Submits accurate timesheets, mileage, and expense reports on time.
  • Drives self-development by actively seeking new ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development channels, with development focused on their future career path.
  • Participates in cross-training as requested to build a stronger team.
