This role will report to the VP, Technology and partner closely with Clinical Operations, Product and Market teams. The Data Product Owner is responsible for understanding organizational KPIs and defining the scope of the work for the Data Engineering team as it relates to their role for organizational goals. The data product owner will act as both a liaison with the business for current and future needs while also providing updates on issue triage and data support work items. The Data Product Owner is responsible for defining the why, when and what of how the data engineering team will support the business. They will work closely with the business to ensure support for reporting and analytics. The data product owner will work closely with the scrum team to ensure that our data warehouse is built to support current and future state needs. This person is hands-on with the data, enjoys being a subject matter expert of their data and can easily navigate a database and execute basic queries.

As the Data Product Owner, you will:

• Lead all scrum activities, acting as both the product owner and scrum master for the team
• Develop and manage multiple initiatives across timelines and share weekly updates with the organization related to scrum team activities and project related goals
• Act as a strong liaison between our vended partners as well as reporting and analytics.
• Strong communicator that understands, documents and communicates the (“Why”, “When”, and “What”), and prioritizing issues and requirements through Epic, Feature, and User Stories
• Collaborates with the Product Team to understand the business initiative, as well as; to document and elaborate data needs
• Translate business strategy into product strategy and ultimately into data and technology requirements
• Maintains a Product backlog that includes complete user stories with acceptance criteria so that they are consumable and testable by the Agile team or program
• Build and manage project plans to ensure products and/or features are properly resourced and timed
• Managing the full lifecycle of the data and it’s integrations
• Create, communicate, and manage the data product strategy, vision, and roadmap
• Managing bi-directional product communications with internal and external customers
• Prioritize the Product Backlog to balance stakeholder, business and technical objectives
• Overseeing development stages
• Manage all aspects of in-life products, including feedback, requirements, and issues
