QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must have at least minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Must have experience maintaining ISO27001 accreditation.
• Excellent understanding of GDPR.
• Preferably a recognised qualification in information security.

NEEDS TO KNOW:

• Customer facing, continuous improvement mentality
• Understand the principles of risk management and the part that information security management plays in mitigating risks
• Understand the nature of threats and risks to the organisation’s information.
• Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation to promote the need for information security
• Develops and maintains strong collaborative relationships internally and with suppliers

As the Data Protection and Information Security Manager (DPISM) you will be responsible for managing the information security and GDPR strategy and policies for the GEOAmey business. You will be responsible for developing, reviewing and monitoring effectiveness of information security and GDPR policies. Ensuring effective communication of policies and ensuring compliance with the business teams.
You will ensure that GEOAmey have the relevant accreditations, procedural and technical measures in place to meet the information security and data protection requirements of the GEOAmey customers.
