We are looking for a motivated Data Protection Coordinator (m/f/d) to join our team and help ensure the company’s IT compliance with data protection regulations.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree in Business, Law, Business Informatics, Business Law, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • We are also open to career changers: Experience in related fields such as IT, regulatory compliance, legal, quality or project management, or consulting is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Solid understanding of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and, if applicable, other relevant data protection laws, with practical experience in compliance activities.
  • Technical affinity with software, IT systems, and ideally cloud services (SaaS or IaaS).
  • A completed certificate in data protection (e.g., CIPP/E, EU-DSGVO) is desirable but not mandatory
Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation and compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant data protection laws.
  • Serve as the point of contact for employees and external partners, customers and prospects on data protection-related questions.
  • Represent the company externally, ensuring readiness to provide information to data subjects and authorities
  • Review and negotiate data processing agreements with prospects, customers and suppliers
  • Assist in drafting and maintaining records of processing activities, privacy policies, and other relevant documentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g. our I&D and cloud expert teams) for seamless implementation of data privacy principles.
  • Support data protection audits and assessments and ensure proper documentation
  • Design and conduct training sessions to raise awareness of data protection issues among employees.
  • Analyze and respond to data protection incidents and develop preventative measures.
