SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Required

  • Good understanding of finance, travel or reporting systems
  • Excellent communication skills, able to liaise confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a data-focused role such as data stewardship, governance, business analysis, or systems/data support.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, or other tools used for data validation and analysis.
  • Experience in the travel, hospitality, or bookings industry.
  • Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Thoughtspot).
  • Experience working in an environment with complex or high-volume transactional data.
Responsibilities

To take ownership of ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across key business systems and reports. This role plays a vital part in maintaining confidence in our transactional and reporting data by identifying issues, coordinating resolution efforts, and helping to implement long-term improvements. Working closely with other departments, data owners, and technical teams, the Data Issue Resolution Lead will act as a central contact point for report data-related issues—ensuring swift resolution and continuous enhancement of practises where necessary.
