The Data Quality Group Manager is accountable for managing and executing continuous Data Quality controls, standards, and processes. The Data Quality Group manager ensures timely, accurate, and complete reporting of data in the required standards. The Group Manager oversees end-to-end process of working with various stakeholders to resolve data challenges by understanding root cause / thematic issues and executing data quality resolution. This job requires excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project. 10+ years of experience, Banking or Finance industry preferred Experience defining and implementing data quality programs Communicates effectively, develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives Ability to gain confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity and authenticity Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills across a variety of stakeholders at different levels Optimizes work processes by balancing effective / efficient processes with a focus on continuous improvement. Demonstrates ability to balance between seeing the “big picture” while paying close attention to detail Organizational savvy; understands systems, management processes, knows where to go for information and how to interpret them. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to recognize & comprehend complex issues to identify and recommend appropriate solutions. Ability to work independently and use a high level of independent judgment, while effectively partnering and communicating with a broader team. Use of influence skills and matrix management skills to ensure solutions meet enterprise requirements.
