DUTIES:
- Develop and manage enterprise data models, metadata, data definitions and data dictionaries.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, consistency and reproducibility across organisational reporting.
- Design, develop and maintain automated dashboards and scheduled reports.
- Implement data quality monitoring processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support analytics, evaluation and reporting functions through the provision of reliable and appropriately structured datasets.
- Integrate and manage datasets across multiple systems, including clinical, workforce, service delivery and financial systems.
- Identify data issues, gaps and inconsistencies and work with relevant teams to develop practical solutions.
- Support the development and implementation of data governance processes and consistent data practices.
- Collaborate with program, clinical, workforce, finance and Strategy teams to support effective use of organisational data.
- Work with ICT and relevant system vendors to support data integration and system improvements.
- Support the ongoing improvement of dashboard functionality, usability and accessibility for end users.
- Explore and implement appropriate automation and AI-assisted tools to improve the usability, responsiveness and personalisation of reporting and dashboards.
- Provide reliable data and reporting to support organisational planning, evaluation and decision-making.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities while delivering work within required timeframes.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience in data engineering, business intelligence development or analytics infrastructure.
- Strong technical skills in SQL, ETL processes and dashboard/reporting tools.
- Proven experience implementing data quality frameworks and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate and manage datasets across multiple systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify data issues and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and with external stakeholders.
- Strong record of innovation, creativity and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapt to changing priorities and deliver work within short timeframes.
- Demonstrated commitment to data integrity, transparency and accountability.
- Ability to work respectfully with culturally governed data and understand community expectations regarding the use of data.
DESIRABLE:
- Demonstrated ability to apply AI-assisted tools or techniques to improve the usability, responsiveness and personalisation of data dashboards and reporting interfaces.
- Experience working within health, social services or public sector data environments.
- Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous Data Sovereignty and culturally safe data practices.
- Familiarity with advanced analytics, automation and reproducible reporting techniques.
- Experience with data governance frameworks and organisational data standards.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in data engineering, business intelligence, data analytics or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL, ETL processes and business intelligence/dashboard tools.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Police Check.
- Commitment to IWC's values and culturally safe practices.
- Current driver's licence or ability to travel between IWC locations as required.

SALARY PACKAGE:
Your Salary Package is made up of the following: -
- Salary Sacrifice Packaging valued up to $15,990 per annum – adding approximately $2,000 to your take-home pay (available after completion of probation).
