As Data Science Auditor within Hub CEE, you will contribute to the Group Audit activities in 10+ countries across all BNP Paribas Operating Divisions. With our dynamic team of approximately 70 auditors, we cover an audit universe of more than 90 legal entities in major European cities from A(thens) to Z(urich).

Data Analytics: Advanced Data Analytics Proficiency, including expert knowledge in Power-BI and Tableau.
Mentorship: Ability to tailor existing data analytic use cases to the specific needs of audit assignments and mentor team members in their application.
Repeatable Use Cases: Create repeatable data analytics use cases to support continuous audit monitoring programs.

EXPERIENCE:
Ideally professional experience in the field of Internal Audit in the financial industry or an auditing firm or alternatively experience in an international bank (preferably BNP Paribas) in relevant positions.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher), preferably in data analytics or with a focus on finance, banking, auditing, business administration or law.
Relationship Building: Ability to connect, establish and build relationships.
Team spirit: Intercultural competence with the willingness to work in an international environment.
Language: Proficiency in English, both spoken and written; additional languages such as German or French are a plus.
Travel: Readiness to travel across Central & Eastern Europe.
Microsoft Office: Advanced knowledge required.
Data Analytics: Serving as the Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for managing data analytic requests within the Hub CEE and ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
Data Cleansing Expertise: Applying professional scepticism to assess data sources, validating completeness and accuracy, and ensuring high-quality data for analysis.
Advanced Data Processing: Utilizing data analysis tools such as Power-BI and Python to process large data volumes, cleansing data, and generating insightful visualizations.
Knowledge Sharing: Promoting effective knowledge transfer and communication of relevant data analytics topics among team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
Training Facilitation: Acting as a multiplicator to facilitate training sessions within the team on the development of use cases and data analytics in general.
Audit Participation: Engaging in audit assignments according to International Internal Audit (IIA) standards, leading themes independently and contributing data-driven insights.
Internal Controls: Evaluating the design and effectiveness of internal controls, identifying areas for improvement and providing actionable, tailored recommendations for risk mitigation and control enhancement.
Process Improvement: Contributing to internal initiatives to continuously improve processes and audit approaches, leveraging your expertise in data analytics.
Industry Awareness: Staying up to date with financial industry developments, laws, regulations, and Group procedures, integrating this knowledge into your data science practices.
