About the Role: We are looking for a talented and motivated Data Science Intern to join our team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience working on cutting-edge projects in Generative AI and Recommendation Systems. You will work alongside experienced data scientists to assist with the entire data science lifecycle, from data collection and cleaning to model building and evaluation. What will you do:- Assist in data collection and cleaning for Generative AI and Recommendation Systems projects - Explore and experiment with various Generative AI techniques - Help develop and evaluate Recommendation Systems algorithms - Visualize and communicate data insights effectively - Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Generative AI and Recommendation Systems - Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute new ideas - Document findings and methodologies clearly and concisely What are we looking for? Must have: - Programming: Strong foundation in Python (libraries like NumPy, Pandas) for data manipulation and analysis. - Statistics: Understanding of statistical concepts like hypothesis testing, probability distributions, and linear regression. - Data wrangling: Ability to clean, prepare, and explore data to uncover patterns and trends. - Problem-solving: Analytical thinking and ability to approach problems from a data-driven perspective. - Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present findings and collaborate effectively. - Learning agility: Passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date on advancements in Generative AI and Recommendation Systems. Good to have: - Experience with Generative AI techniques (e.g., LLMs, GANs, VAEs) - Familiarity with Recommendation Systems algorithms (e.g., Collaborative Filtering, Content-Based Filtering) - Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) for data storage and processing - Project management: Ability to organize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively. - Curiosity and creativity: A desire to explore new ideas and contribute to brainstorming sessions. - Attention to detail: Careful and meticulous approach to data handling and analysis.
