Responsibilities

ROLE: DATA SCIENCE MANAGER – MACHINE LEARNING & AI PROJECTS

Location: Based in Alcester, this hybrid role is 1-2 days per week in the office
Salary and benefits: £75,000-£85,000, depending on experience, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and more

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead end-to-end ML/AI projects: From scoping and experimentation to deployment and monitoring.
  • Translate complex business problems into data science opportunities with measurable outcomes.
  • Build models using Python, SQL, and Snowflake, leveraging tools like scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow.
  • Collaborate with analytics engineers to ensure scalable, production-ready solutions.
  • Develop and communicate a data science roadmap aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Mentor and coach data scientists, analysts, and engineers in best practices and experimentation.
