Work You’ll Do
As a Data Science Technical Lead and Subject Matter Expert, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our client’s data science products and projects. We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML SME to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in translating mission problems into technical solutions, with a focus on automation and AI/ML. This role requires hands-on experience with designing and implementing analytics and AI/ML models, leveraging IC ITE (including IC-GovCloud) and C2E (C2S) services and infrastructure, and engaging with various stakeholders to ensure solutions are ethical, legal, compliant, and transparent.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance required
  • 4+ years of experience in Data Science, preferably in a management capacity
  • 4+ years of experience developing AI/ML solutions with IC ITE and C2E (C2S) services and infrastructure
  • 4+ years of experience with AI/ML model integration within software development lifecycles; expertise in evaluating and tuning AI/ML models based on various performance metrics
  • Ability to work on-site a minimum of 3 days/week in Washington DC area

Preferred:

  • Hands-on experience in a software-centric development environment (SDLC) for AI/ML model integration
  • Proficiency in programmatically connecting to IC APIs and data repositories, retrieving data, and developing analytics
  • Hands-on experience with fine-grain access controls for data analytics
  • Experience in shepherding analytic solutions through various stages from proof-of-concept to production
  • Experience tuning model performance based on customer feedback and defining custom performance metrics
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fluid client environment, transitioning between technical and non-technical communications.
  • Experience in identifying technical requirements across multi-functional teams to guide SOP creation and promote professional development
  • Experience developing, training, and evaluating neural NLP and time series models on mission data
  • Strong engagement skills with governance, legal, and policy offices
