Description

abra is looking for a Data Scientist to join a Model Development Team. The team leads the development of strategic, data-driven projects across multiple business units, leveraging advanced AI technologies and models in areas such as marketing, customer experience, pricing, and technology. Role Responsibilities Develop and deploy models on AWS infrastructure Extract insights from data using advanced analytical tools and AI technologies Define algorithmic solutions to address business challenges Analyze structured and unstructured data Present findings and business insights to stakeholders Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of model outcomes Requirements At least 5 years of hands-on experience in model development, including definition, development, and deployment Minimum 5 years of experience in processing and analyzing large-scale tabular data (Significant advantage for experience working in AWS environments and using PySpark) Strong hands-on development experience in Python Significant advantage for experience in developing Generative AI–based applications Significant advantage for development experience and business understanding in the banking domain Strong analytical and hands-on capabilities, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical and analytical solutions Advantage for experience working in a large organization and a strong system-wide perspective Academic background: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Science

Responsibilities
