Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE AT BRE

The Data Scientist will play a key role in delivering data-driven insights and solutions across housing, energy efficiency, and sustainability projects. Working within a multidisciplinary team, this role supports internal and external stakeholders by applying analytical methods and advanced modelling techniques to real-world challenges.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

  • Develop and apply statistical and machine learning models to solve business and research problems.
  • Clean, transform, and analyse structured and unstructured data using modern data science tools.
  • Use SQL and Python to extract, manipulate, and visualise data from various sources.
  • Support the enhancement and maintenance of existing data products and tools.
  • Produce clear and actionable insights to inform decision-making across teams and partner organisations.
  • Collaborate with analysts, data engineers, and product teams to shape the technical direction of projects.
  • Communicate findings through visualisations, dashboards, and technical reports.
  • Contribute to innovation in the use of data, AI, and advanced analytics within the housing and sustainability domain.
