Do work that matters: As a Data Scientist within the Institutional Banking & Markets (IB&M) AI Solutions team, you will assist in the development, monitoring, implementation and management of models supporting our journey of transforming the practice of banking for Institutional Clients. From applying Generative AI to better support knowledge and decision management functions, to activating agent-oriented AI design patterns to automate and drive results, you will be familiar with the latest and most exciting patterns in AI and Data Science development. Tech skills: We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. While we don’t expect you to know them all, experience or exposure to generative AI, agents, AI, and machine learning will set you up for success in this role. · Experience applying generative AI concepts or building prototype applications. · Proficiency in using large language models (LLMs) for various business applications. · Have applied experience in multi-agentic Generative AI frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, LangGraph, or OpenAI Responses API (or equivalent frameworks). · Expertise in AI including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), design, safety guardrails. · Experience or strong interest in developing and deploying generative AI or AI models on cloud infrastructure such as AWS. · Practical experience in Institutional banking products (lending, transaction banking) or financial markets products and relationship-driven business models preferred. · Strong communication skills, you will be engaging directly with senior stakeholders and develop use cases together with them. · Tertiary Qualification in Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
