As a Data Scientist at Danish Crown, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to uncover valuable insights, developing predictive models, and working closely with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decision-making. You will be involved in various projects, such as:

  • Commodity, livestock, and product forecasting.
  • Object detection and tracking in real-time video feeds from production sites.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
  • Strong programming skills in Python. SQL is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques.
  • Fluent in English. Understanding of Danish can be a plus.
  • Familiar with cloud platforms and version control.
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

You’ll be part of helping Danish Crown become a data-first organization. Your main tasks will include:

  • Providing actionable insights, identify trends and measure performance by conducting advanced statistical and other analyses.
  • Developing analytical solutions by creating, testing and implementing complex models and algorithms.
  • Implementing scalable, sustainable solutions addressing business needs in collaboration with AI/ML and Data Engineers.
  • Explaining the design, functioning and output of analytical models/solutions to consumers.
  • Staying up to date with the latest trends and advancements in data science and machine learning.
