  • As a data analyst, you work at the intersection of programming, statistics, and critical thinking. Your responsibilities include:Your data sets form the basis for professional analyses, thus ensuring the best possible quality of our predictions.
  • You validate performance forecasts using existing statistics and analysis tools.

  • Process analysis: For the content-related and operational development of our prediction system, you will use appropriate data science methods, uncover internal process weaknesses, and develop concepts for optimization.
  • In addition, you will participate in internal and external projects, including the provision of statistically relevant data, and take on project management responsibilities.
  • You will work closely with our teams in meteorology, research and software development.

Your profile

  • You have completed your engineering or natural science studies in Data Science / Analytics, Mathematics, (Geo-)Physics, Meteorology or a comparable field.
  • Ideally, you have gained initial professional experience in the field of data analysis, big data, artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML), preferably as a data analytics manager, data engineer or in a similar role.
