Job Title Data Scientist – GenAI for FEC Job Description We are looking for a hands-on Data Scientist with a builder mindset to join the GenAI team within Rabobank’s FEC Tech domain. In this role, you help shape and optimise GenAI solutions and features within the Pega platform, transforming how we handle Financial Economic Crime (FEC) processes. This is your opportunity to build and mature our data science capabilities in a dynamic and evolving environment. Examples from practice Collaborate with product owners and developers to integrate GenAI features into Pega workflows. Work with data: sourcing, transforming, assessing quality, and preparing it for GenAI use cases. Prototype quickly, iterate often, and help drive a lean experimentation culture. Facts & Figures 36 hours per week You will help develop and optimise GenAI models that impact thousands of FEC processes each month. 9.5 million customers worldwide. Top 3 Responsibilities Develop metrics and evaluation frameworks to measure GenAI performance and impact, ensuring alignment with compliance and ethical standards. Document processes and support audit-readiness for AI features, raising the data science maturity level within the team. Evaluate and optimise GenAI models within the constraints of platform capabilities, bringing structure and best practices to the team. You will be part of the GenAI team within FEC Tech, working closely with product owners, developers, and compliance experts to deliver innovative AI solutions for Rabobank’s FEC processes. You & Your Talent Proven experience as a Data Scientist, ideally with exposure to GenAI or NLP. Strong skills in data wrangling, transformation, and quality assessment. Familiarity with model evaluation techniques, validation frameworks, and parameter optimisation. Experience with software (e.g., Pega, GenAI APIs, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic). Understanding of compliance and risk in AI applications. Medior-level experience in data science and model validation (focus on validation, not model training).
