DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

Within AI2 (Analytics, Insights and Artificial Intelligence), the NACO (North American Customer Operations) team supports the day-to-day activities of the NACO businesses by providing consultative support with data & analytics-based business insights and/or solutions to guide decision making and/or strategic planning. We work with business partners to address their analytics needs by providing end-to-end support of data, reporting, analytics, insights, and artificial intelligence solutions. JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Contribute to strategic technical planning and identify opportunities to support business strategy. Expert role that provides technical leadership to others in the development of a broad range of complex models that support business needs.
  • Work closely with business management on data modelling requests / activities to ensure alignment with overall strategies
  • Lead the activities related to delivery of data deliverables data package, data model, and data mappings
  • Responsible for reading business and technical requirements to ensure data deliverables meet business needs
  • Conduct walkthroughs of all data deliverables to aid approval / sign-off process with internal stakeholders
  • Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for our business area
  • Ensure respective programs / policies / practices are well managed, meets business needs, complies with internal and external requirements, and aligns with business priorities
  • Participate in cross-functional / enterprise / initiatives as a subject matter expert helping to identify risk / provide guidance for complex situations
  • Act as a subject matter expert integrating cross function understanding within their own field of specialty
  • Work autonomously and accountable for acting as a lead within a specialized analytics function and may provide work direction to others
  • Provide seasoned specialized knowledge, advice and/or guidance to various stakeholders and team members
  • Expert at utilizing data sources across the organization with ability to integrate data across multiple platforms
  • Work effectively across multiple business units with numerous stakeholders to deliver advanced analytics solutions
  • Scope of role may have business segment and /or enterprise impact.
  • Generally focus on broad range of complex issues that may span from medium – long term issues (e.g. 6-12 months)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., math, physics, engineering, finance or computer science)
  • Graduate’s degree preferred with either progressive project work experience or 5+ year of relevant experience; higher degree education and research tenure can be counted
  • Previous experience working with contact centre data is strongly preferred
