JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Data Scientist III to support the GeoSpatial team by leading end-to-end analytics initiatives and providing actionable insights that drive business actions and value . This includes data exploration, requirements gathering, presenting insights and employing advance analytics capabilities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Preferred: Bachelor’s or advanced technical/ geospatial degree with progressive project experience or 5+ years relevant experience.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with SQL, Python, Databricks, MS Office applications, ArcGIS (BusinessAnalyst/ NetworkAnalyst/ Spatial Analyst modules) & API solution
  • Familiarity with the use of Geospatial techniques and methodologies in innovative retail/ banking applications (e.g. clustering, site selection, location-allocations, multi-criteria evaluation, trade area analysis, etc.)
  • Possess the ability to synthesize large amounts of complex data into key and concise messages for the senior leadership team
  • Strong analytic skills, including data analysis, business casing, customer insights, segmentation analysis, and predictive models
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential.
  • Strong Banking and product knowledge preferrable
  • Familiarity with cloud service platforms preferrable.
  • Works efficiently and has solid organizational skills/time management, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities/initiatives
  • Experience in retail network planning, branch/store distribution strategy, development of geospatial solutions is a asset
  • Tableau / Power BI
