eSimplicity is seeking a Data Scientist IV with 4+ years of experience applying advanced statistical methods, tools, and coding languages to implement data models, identify data trends and anomalies, and produce data analyses across a variety of subject domains. Prior experience with financial claims data is a plus

Requirements:

  • All candidates must pass public trust clearance through the U.S. Federal Government. This requires candidates to either be U.S. citizens or pass clearance through the Foreign National Government System which will require that candidates have lived within the United States for at least 3 out of the previous 5 years, have a valid and non-expired passport from their country of birth and appropriate VISA/work permit documentation.
  • A successful candidate must have four (4) or more years of working experience (post-graduate) as a data scientist, data modeler, data analyst, or similar role.
  • A successful candidate must have two (2) or more years of working experience (non-collegiate) using advanced analytic techniques to identify anomalies, patterns, and predictive variables. Experience working with financial data is a plus.
  • A successful candidate must have two (2) or more years of working experience (non-collegiate) developing regression, classification, and other statistical models to detect and prevent fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement.
  • A successful candidate must have two (2) or more years of hands-on experience coding rules and models using open-source programming techniques and tools, including R and/or Python.
  • A successful candidate must have two (2) or more years of hands-on experience using SAS or SQL to query structured and unstructured datasets to answer business questions.
  • A successful candidate must have two (2) or more years of working experience (non-collegiate) of data management and data manipulation. Experience building data pipelines is a plus.
  • Strong oral and written skills are required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working with graph databases and topologies (e.g. nearest neighbor).
  • Experience working within the Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
  • Experience developing generative AI query prompts to produce work products.
