Description

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Applicant should have at least two (2) years of proven experience in data analysis, machine learning, and
    statistical modeling, preferably in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  3. Industry experience with Overlay Analysis is beneficial and experience with fusion/hybrid bonding technologies
    and advanced Stepper technology is a plus.
  4. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present information to factory
    employees and engineers.
  5. Statistical modeling and analysis, using tools such as JMP, R, Minitab, MATLAB and Origin
  6. Fluency in scripting languages such as Python, and JSL including capability for automating analyses
  7. Experience/familiarity working with time-series data and data visualization techniques
  8. Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks for predictive analytics
  9. Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL databases, scalable data pipeline development, applying data cleansing, outlier
    identification, and missing data techniques world be a plus, but not mandatory.
  10. Experience in providing data driven intelligence for optimization of manufacturing processes.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  1. While performing duties of this job, individual is regularly required to stand, sit, reach with hand and arms,
    stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  2. Visual acuity required.
  3. Individual is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls frequently and be able to
    reach with hand and arms above shoulder level occasionally.
  4. Ability to wear proper cleanroom attire and work inside the fab/cleanroom up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, individual must be able to perform each of the primary duties satisfactorily. The

1. Determine which data are available and useful for the project.
2. Collect, categorize, and analyze data.
3. Create, validate, test, and update algorithms and models.
4. Use data visualization software to present findings.
5. Analyze large amounts of complex data to extract insights and drive decision-making.
6. Develop statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics solutions to address business
challenges.
7. Design experiments to test hypotheses and measure the effectiveness of solutions.
8. Make business recommendations based on data analysis.
9. Must be able to travel domestically and internationally overnight, as needed, up to 30% of the time.
10. Other duties, as assigned.

  5. Ability to work well under minimal supervision as well as with a team.

  7. An ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external customers regarding current issues.
