QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Active TS/SCI with current polygraph
  • Have at least 5 years serving as a Data Scientist
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related quantitative science field
  • Experience in developing intelligent algorithms capable of learning, analyzing, and predicting future events, turning those algorithms into AI models and systems, and then testing and maintaining them
  • Ability to use large data sets to research, develop, and generate algorithms that can learn and access, analyze, and organize data, execute tests, and optimize the learning process to help develop high-performance ML models

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:

  • Master’s degree in engineering or related quantitative science field
  • 5 years of IC experience
  • Experience leading teams resulting in successful verification and test strategies/solutions for complex programs
  • Experience with cloud development processes
  • Experience with industry system engineering practices
  • Strong people skills to influence, collaborate and work effectively with all levels of internal and external leadership

Responsibilities
  • Conducts scientific Research and Development towards the tasking, collection, processing, and dissemination of data
  • Collects substantial amounts of data using analytical, statistical, and programmable skills
  • Analyze data sets to discover actionable patterns and trends for business use
  • Uses scientific methods, processes, algorithms, and systems to extract insights from structured and unstructured data
  • Applies mathematical, problem-solving, and coding skills to manage big data, extracting valuable insights.
  • Assess other’s R&D proposals for feasibility and progress towards mission goals
  • Solve difficult, non-routine problems by applying advanced analytical methodologies and improving analytic methodologies
  • Developing custom searches
  • Communicating and coordinating with internal and external partners as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
