Our ideal candidate has the following attributes

• You have a tertiary qualification in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• You have 2+ years experience in a data science role.
• You have strong experience in causal inference and/or predictive analytics and/or time-series forecasting.
• You are comfortable working with real world messy datasets.
• You have proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, modelling and visualisation.
• You have proficiency in using cloud environments such as Amazon Sagemaker for ML training.
• You have excellent problem-solving skills and are excited by solving challenging problems and learning new technologies.
• You can work independently in a remote environment, manage competing priorities, and take ownership of problems through to resolution.
• You have a good understanding of how to use AI tools to help you code, analyse data and solve problems, including both benefits and limitations.
• You are a team player who enjoys working collaboratively with others and communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.

Although this role is fully remote, to be considered you must reside in Sydney, Central Coast, Newcastle, Gold Coast, Brisbane or Canberra.
