ABOUT YOUR FUTURE ROLE

We are looking for a data scientist able to combine analytical skills with business acumen, who can understand and articulate business objectives, transforming them into impactful data science solutions.
You will join the Data Science Team in our Danish headquarter, a growing function that strongly leverages Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to empower different Business Units in Nexi with insights and advanced solutions, applying algorithms on millions of transactions per day.

Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

  • Understand the payments industry and develop MVPs (Minimum Viable Products) using traditional data science / machine learning algorithms, solving real-world challenges
  • Collect business requirements and understand how to translate them in data-related activities
  • Develop ad-hoc analytics and algorithms to support business insights
  • Interact with other data professionals (e.g., data engineers)
  • Present effectively the results to business leaders

Qualifications needed to be successful in this role:

  • Master degree in Data Science / Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Mathematics / Statistics or other scientific degree
  • 3+ years in a data scientist, data analyst or similar role
  • Proficient in Python and SQ
