Job Description Execute Retail Establishment Survey (RES) Design, RES Validation, Universe Estimation, Universe Update and Panel Sample Design, as per the plan and with no quality escapes Generate ideas, integrate data sources and design models for new method development Provide ideas, Innovate and automate processes and tools to bring efficiency and eliminate legacy challenges Learn and utilize the global tools to ensure standardization of process Engage and align with stakeholders on client queries and requirements of new estimates and designs Participate and contribute to the testing of tools and documentation of processes Contribute to product enhancement through various planned initiatives/ activities Develop expertise on the base product, the processes and tools Contribute to creating best practices for the country and sharing them with other GDDC centers Engage with SMEs on new methodology and new tools Be actively engaged and participate in engagement activities of the team Qualifications 1-3 years of work experience in the data analyzing position Domain expertise in at least one area: Demography, Sampling, Statistics Modeling, Survey Design Practices. Bachelor’s degree or above in Statistics, Operations Research, or Econometrics with outstanding analytical expertise and strong technical leadership Proficient in Python or R Knowledge of SQL and working with large-scale databases. Experience in some or all of statistical modeling, variance estimation, trend analyses, indirect estimation, data aggregation techniques, automation, generalization.
