itD is seeking an experienced Data Scientist / Operational Research professional to design, develop, and deploy advanced analytical, statistical, and optimization models that drive data‑informed decision‑making across the organization. This role blends data science, mathematical modeling, and operations research to solve complex business problems related to forecasting, optimization, efficiency, and performance improvement. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, business acumen, and the ability to translate analytical insights into actionable recommendations that support itD’s strategic and operational goals. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement predictive, statistical, and optimization models to support itD’s strategic and operational decision‑making. Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities for performance improvement across itD. Apply operations research techniques such as optimization, simulation, and decision analysis to real-world business problems at itD. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders at itD to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. Communicate analytical findings clearly through visualizations, presentations, and written recommendations to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. 5+ years of professional experience in data science, operations research, analytics, or a closely related role. Strong proficiency in Python or R, including libraries for data analysis, modeling, and experimentation. Demonstrated experience with statistical modeling, forecasting, machine learning, and/or optimization techniques. Proven ability to translate complex analytical results into clear, actionable business insights that influence decision‑making. Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
