Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Our ideal candidate is adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimisation and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action.
  • You will feed into and manage the delivery of the BI Roadmap Data Science initiatives.
  • You will oversee planning and analysis of product delivery trials.
  • You will extend the capabilities and scope of data used to external sources in the BI team.
  • You will mine and analyse data from company databases to drive optimisation and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
  • You will assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
  • You will be responsible for developing custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets and implement best practices as they relate to data science, data quality and governance strategies.
  • You will coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
  • You will research data science trends and technological innovations to make appropriate development recommendations.
  • You’ll identify areas for improvements for reliability, adaptability, and efficiencies.
  • You will coach other members of BI team on statistical and analytical best practices.
