This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Data Scientist in United States. This role provides an exciting opportunity to leverage data science and predictive modeling to deliver actionable insights and create a competitive advantage. You will work collaboratively across teams to design, develop, and deploy machine learning models while exploring new data sources and maintaining data pipelines. The position emphasizes hands-on technical work, from feature engineering and model building to production deployment, while clearly communicating results and recommendations to stakeholders. Accountabilities: Execute end-to-end data science projects, from exploratory data analysis to model deployment. Build, prototype, and deploy machine learning models in both sandbox and production environments. Develop and maintain ETL pipelines to ensure reliable, clean, and structured data for modeling. Explore internal data sources and evaluate their utility in predictive modeling and analytics. Produce reports and visualizations to communicate findings, trends, and model outcomes to stakeholders. Collaborate with senior data scientists, leadership, and cross-functional teams to align models with business goals. Communicate modeling challenges, insights, and results clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Minimum of 1 year of experience in predictive modeling, data science, or data analysis. Strong proficiency in Python or R, including notebook environments. Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques. Experience in data wrangling, feature engineering, and data exploration. Familiarity with data visualization tools and libraries. Understanding of insurance claims processes is preferred but not required. Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
